Nadia is a Swiss-Egyptian director and writer who has written and directed several highly acclaimed films. Her first feature film «Honey and Ashes»(1997) won 18 awards at many international film festivals. Her second feature film «Small Differences», a black comedy was part of the prestigious collection of ARTE, France (2004). She has also directed several short documentaries on social-political issues for TV5 MONDE. She is a graduate from New York University, TISCH School of the Arts, where she has received her Master of fine Arts in Film and Television.


During her studies she has assisted Kryszstof Kieslowski, who became her
mentor on her first short film «Sugarblues» who won the Stanley Thomas Johnson Award. She is currently working on her next feature set in the U.S.A. She has taught at film schools and workshops all over the world.

The Team

Project manager and producer, Marie-Claude Barbier has worked since 1996 in cultural events from the idea to the financing of a project, she has done it all. She has collaborated with a number of artists.

 

From 2003 -2013 she was project manager of Quatuor Sine Nomine in  Lausanne. She has created and produced  Seven Songs for Sunrise, by Helmut Oehring, for the F.W. Murnau film, Sunrise (1927) with Jürg Henneberger and David Moss. It was shown at the Cinémathèque suisse in Lausanne, Switzerland and in the Centre Pompidou in Paris, France.

 

She was the managing director of the "International Film Festival Fribourg" (1999-2000) and she has collaborated with the documentary festival "Visions du Réel" in Nyon, Switzerland. 

 

Francesco Cesalli has worked as a TV Producer since 1993. He has directed feature documentaries and independent short films. He has produced several TV- shows and worked as a videographer and artistic director on several stage plays. Francesco is now working on his next Production about the famous French Singer "Camille".
